Scribe and Surgical Medical Assistant

Divine Dermatology specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. We are experts in the use of state-of-the-art dermatological equipment and products that ensure our patients receive the best results.

Our practice is looking to add a Medical Assistant to help our providers with rooming patients, procedures, maintaining clinic flow, and assisting other team members as needed in our busy dermatology clinic.

As a Scribe and Surgical/Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, providing essential support to our providers while ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role offers hands-on experience in patient care, allowing you to assist with a wide range of surgical and skin procedures and general patients' skin care consults. You will work closely with both patients and providers, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

• Assist providers in physical examination, such as full body skin exams and in-office surgeries such as cyst removals and skin cancer surgeries.
• Assist providers with patient consults and examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Stock rooms and maintain inventory counts.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.

• Prior experience in a Plastic Surgery, ENT or Dermatology practice or a related healthcare setting, preferably with surgical assisting expertise.
• Familiarity with dermatologic procedures, treatments, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both patients and team members.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
